Welcome to the enchanting Costa del Sol! Arrive in Torremolinos, one of Spain's classic beach resorts, for a relaxing six-night stay. Explore your beachside hotel on your own before gathering for a welcome dinner with your fellow guests. Next, travel through the largest region in Spain, Andalucia, to the extraordinary city of Seville. On a locally guided walking tour of Seville, visit one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the Christian world and view the Moorish Giralda Bell Tower, a remnant of a former mosque. Your journey continues through magnificent mountain ranges on the way to Granada, a city that held an international reputation as a cultural center under the Moors and was later a city of Renaissance splendor under the Catholic monarchs. A local expert will guide you through the world-famous Alhambra, an immense hilltop palace complex built by the caliphs of the Nasrid dynasty. In the south of Spain, view castle ruins in the distance, as you make your way to the magnificent city of Cordoba. Stop in the historic town of Ronda and take a walking tour of this fascinating village, split dramatically in two by the impressive El Tajo Gorge.
