Airport Transfers
Trafalgar has included a free transfer to and from your London airport and Central London. Your transfer will be via an express train link from London Heathrow Airport to Paddington Station on the Heathrow Rail Express, and from London Gatwick Airport to Victoria Station on the Gatwick Rail Express. Gatwick Express takes 30 minutes and Heathrow Express takes only 15 minutes compared to the one hour plus journey by coach! From Paddington or Victoria it's a short and inexpensive journey by taxi to your London hotel.
Airport/Central London Railway Station/Airport: Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station. From Central London it's a short and inexpensive journey by taxi to your hotel. Heathrow Express operates between 05.10 - 23.30. Gatwick Express operates inbound services between 05.20 - 23.45 and outbound services from 04.30 - 23.45. Transfers out these times are at passengers own expense.
For passengers who choose to make their own flight arrangements, a transfer will be provided at a charge of $25 per person round trip. Your Travel Agent must provide Trafalgar accurate flight details no less that 21 days prior to tour departure and must arrange your flight to coincide with our specific arrival and departure transfer times. If however, you arrive outside the scheduled transfer times, then you must make your own alternative transfer arrangements at your own expense.

Day 1 Depart USA
Overnight transatlantic flight to London.
Day 2 Arrive London (2nights)
Time to relax after checking into your hotel.
Day 3 London at leisure
The day is at leisure to explore or perhaps do some shopping in Britain's capital.(Continental breakfast)
Day 4 London - Glasgow
This morning after breakfast we begin our drive through England's varied landscapes on our way to Scotland. On our journey we will pass the Lake District and the head in to the heather-covered lowlands of the Border country. This evening, we're in Glasgow for dinner and our overnight stay. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 5 Glasgow - Fort William (2nights)
After breakfast we enjoy a morning orientation tour around Glasgow. Leaving Glasgow behind we head to the coast and the University town of St. Andrew with its famous Golf Course. From here we continue via Perth and Pitlochry to Fort William, in the shadow of mighty Ben Nevis- Britain Highest mountain. Dinner is at our hotel tonight. (Breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 6 Highlands Excursion to Skye
Today we enjoy the stunning scenery as we drive up through the glens and along the shores of Loch Ness to Invermorriston and Fort Augustus. Here we will cross 'over the sea to Skye' and explore this beautiful Isle. Afterwards, we return to Fort William for dinner at our hotel. (Breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 7 Fort William - Edinburgh
This morning we make our way to notorious Glencoe and continue along the 'bonnie banks' of Loch Lomond. Next we are off to the Scottish capital, Edinburgh. On our arrival we enjoy a sightseeing tour which shows us the Royal Mile, Princes Street and views the Castle. This evening, you may wish to join your fellow travelling companions in a night of Scottish entertainment! (Breakfast)
Day 8 Edinburgh - London
After breakfast, we leave Edinburgh and drive through the Borderlands past the ruins of Jedburgh Abbey and a chance for a photo at Carter Bar, the border between Scotland and England. From here beautiful scenery races as we journey through Northumberland National Park, Newcastle and the Midlands, back to London. (Breakfast)
Day 9 London - USA
Today there's time to bid farewell to Britian and your new- found friends on your return flight to the USA. (Continental breakfast) |
