DAY 1, Mon
Depart USA to Greece. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey.
DAY 2, Tues
Arrive in Athens and transfer to your hotel in Mykonos: MYKONOS
DAY 3, Wed
Full day at leisure or enjoy an optional morning tour of the island. Visit the beach of Saint Ioannis with its picturesque church. Drive by Ornos beach, Saint Stefano beach, and Tourlos harbor. Continue to Kalafatis and Santa Anna. Visit the village of Ano Mera, well-known for the monastery of Panagia Tourliani and the typical square with the Greek taverns ($39). Balance of the day at leisure (B): MYKONOS
DAY 4, Thurs
Morning day at leisure or choose our optional half day tour to Delos. Sail from Mykonos to the island of Delos, which was once the religious center of the Aegean and Cyclades. View the Sacred Harbor, and the regal Sacred Way, flanked by stone lions leading to the temples dedicated to Apollo and Artemis. Visit the museum housing archaeological artifacts found on the island and the tourist pavilion ($57). Balance of the day at leisure (B): MYKONOS
DAY 5, Fri
Transfer to the port for your ferry (tourist class) to Santorini. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure (B): SANTORINI
DAY 6, Sat
Full day at leisure or choose our optional full day cruise around the breathtaking island of Santorini. Board the motorized sailing boat 'Pegasus' and sail to the island of Nea Kameni. Walk up to the still active volcano for a view of the Caldera. The cruise continues to the island of Palea Kameni, where you will have the opportunity to swim in the warm waters of the bay. Continue to the island of Therasia, where you may choose to ride a mule to the village of Manolas. Return to the port of Athinios in Santorini, passing by the beautiful cliffs and Oia ($58) (B): SANTORINI
DAY 7, Sun
Full day at leisure. This evening, enjoy an optional sunset dinner cruise. Drive along the scenic route to the port of Athinios to board a traditional Greek Schooner for a cruise around Santorini. The beautiful colors of the sunset and the spectacular view of the 300 meter high rocks surrounding the Caldera make this an unforgettable excursion. Enjoy a light buffet dinner on board. As you return to port, watch the lights turn on in Oia one by one. ($60) (B): SANTORINI
DAY 8, Mon
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. In the evening, enjoy an optional illuminated tour of Athens with dinner. Enjoy a scenic drive to the port of Piraeus and Marina Zeas yacht harbor before continuing to Microlimano for 'ouzo' and Greek appetizers. Return to Athens for dinner in a typical Greek taverna-night club, with bouzouki music and Greek folk dances ($65) (B): ATHENS
DAY 9, Tues
Full day at leisure or choose an optional morning tour of Athens including visits to the Acropolis and its museum, Panathenian Stadium, Temple of Zeus, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and more ($58). Balance of the day at leisure (B): ATHENS
DAY 10, Wed
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight (B). |
