Day 2, Sun Welcome to London. An arrival transfer from London's Heathrow Airport to your hotel is available for $33 per person ($42 for Gatwick). Afternoon at leisure. This evening, enjoy our optional Jack the Ripper tour. Tread in the footsteps of the infamous Jack the Ripper down the gas-lit alleyways immortalized in books and films. Led by one of the renowned London Blue Badge Guides, you will visit four murder sights and learn about the suspects. Day 3, Mon This morning, we offer an optional tour of London including Parliament, Big Ben and a visit to Westminster Abbey. Continue to Buckingham Palace to witness the pomp and pageantry of the Changing of the Guard. Enjoy the color, movement, and music of Her Majesty's Royal Household Troops. When there is no Guard, the tour will visit Horseguards Parade ($52). This afternoon, enjoy an optional cruise on the River Thames through the heart of London, and enjoy superb views of majestic London buildings. Day 4, Tues This morning, transfer independently to board the Chunnel to Paris. Upon arrival in Paris, transfer independently to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. This evening, choose an optional tour of the Eiffel Tower including dinner at the Altitude 95 restaurant. Following your meal, board a cruise on the Seine River, where you will discover the major monuments and 32 bridges of the city ($113)(B): PARIS

Day 5, Wed This morning, we offer an optional panoramic tour of Paris. View the principal landmarks of the city, beginning with Place des Pyramides and continuing to the Opéra, Place Vendôme, Concorde Square, Champs-Elysées Avenue, Arch of Triumph, Eiffel Tower. Pass by the Invalides, Orsay Museum, The Grand Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Sorbonne, Pantheon Church, Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Place des Pyramides ($21). Afternoon at leisure (B): PARIS

Day 6, Thurs Full day at leisure or join our optional full day tour to the Palace of Versailles, former home of the 'Sun King' Louis XIV and the largest French castle of the 17th century. View the State Apartments, the Hall of Mirrors, the Queen's Apartments and the Reception Halls. Visit the Royal Apartments with a licensed professional guide. Enjoy free time to stroll around the palace and the famous gardens with its fountains and charming paths ($76) (B): PARIS

Day 7, Fri This morning, transfer independently to the airport for your flight to Rome. Upon arrival in Rome, transfer independently to your hotel. Tonight, enjoy an optional tour of Rome by night. Pass Via Veneto, Palazzo Margherita, Porta Pinciana, Villa Borghese, Piazzale Flaminio, Via Flaminia, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Augusto Imperatore, Via del Corso to arrive at the Trevi Fountain, where the tour will stop for a visit. Continue with Piazza Venezi, the Capitol, the Imperial Forum, the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, the Aventine Hill, and the Circus Maximus. From Trastevere, the tour will ascend the Gianicolo Hill for a panoramic view of the city. Upon returning, pass by Castel Sant'Angelo and St. Peter's Basilica ($45) (B): ROME

Day 8, Sat Full day at leisure or choose our optional morning tour of the Vatican Museum. The tour will depart from the Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses' Fountain, and head to Piazza della Republicae. Continue past Via Piemonte, the Aurelian Walls, Porta Pinciana, the Muro Torto and the Villa Borghese before visiting the Vatican Museums and Galleries. Admire the Round Hall, the Hall of the Greek Cross, the Tomb of St. Helen and St. Constance. Stop to see the Sistine Chapel frescoes by Michelangelo. Continue to the Galleries of the Chandeliers, Tapestries and Geographical Maps and the Vatican Library Hall ($55). This afternoon, we offer an optional tour of ancient Rome.
