Upon arrival in Shanghai, you are escorted to the Hua Ting Hotel & Towers.
Day 3 - SHANGHAI
Sightseeing introduces Shanghai's highlights: Nanjing or Huai Hai Road's popular emporiums, the Shanghai Museum exhibiting remarkable dynastic cultural artifacts, the Jade Buddha Temple, the fabled Bund and entertainment in the Children's Palace. Tonight, enjoy an astonishing acrobatic show.

Day 4 - SHANGHAI to ZHUJIAJIAO/SUZHOU
This morning visit the picturesque water town of Zhujiajiao known for its winding canals, arched bridges and Ming and Qing architecture. A highlight of your tour includes a traditional sampan ride on the canals. Then on to the charming garden city of Suzhou. Check in to the Bamboo Grove Hotel.

Day 5 - SUZHOU
Today's tour of Suzhou, noted for its legendary ancient gardens, includes a visit to the Embroidery Research Institute, North Temple Pagoda, Pan Men City Gate and exquisite Garden of the Master of Fishing Net.

Day 6 - SUZHOU to SHANGHAI/BEIJING

Day 7 - BEIJING
See Ming Dynasty extravagance on display at the Forbidden City's Imperial Palace, with tours of the living quarters, museum and jewelry sections. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace where you cruise across the placid waters of Lake Kunming. This evening, enjoy an entertaining Beijing Opera performance.

Day 8 - BEIJING
Today, a highlight of your tour as you walk on the ancient ramparts of the astonishing Great Wall. After lunch, walk along the Sacred Way between statues of warriors and fantastic animals to the Ming Tombs and Chang Ling Exhibition Hall. This evening, you are invited to a delicious Beijing Duck dinner party.

Day 9 - BEIJING to XI'AN

Day 13 - GUILIN to GUANGZHOU/HONG KONG
Fly to Guangzhou and sightsee historical attractions on a city tour of this Pearl River city, including Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and the Chen Clan Temple. Later board the train for the scenic ride to Hong Kong, a vibrant city on a splendid harbor. Check in to the Holiday Inn Golden Mile.
