Airport Transfers
Transfers on arrival and departure will be provided only for passengers who have booked their flights on a Trafalgar recommended flight and advised Trafalgar of their flight details at least 21 days prior to departure date.

Day 2
We fly over the international date line to Sydney, in Australia.

Day 3 Arrive Sydney (3nights)
On arrival in Sydney you are met and transferred to your hotel. After check-in there's time at leisure this afternoon to explore this beautiful city on the harbour or relax and unwind at the hotel. This evening, we will enjoy a welcome drink with our Tour Director and fellow travelling companions.

Day 4 Sydney Sightseeing
After breakfast, our morning sightseeing tour will highlight views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House from Mrs. Macquarie's Chair. Then we join a guided tour of the Opera House, a famous Australian icon. Later, we take a luxury cruise on Sydney Harbour which includes a delicious lunch on board. We'll enjoy interesting commentary plus spectacular sights as we cruise past many of Sydney's prestigious suburbs. Your evening is at leisure. (Buffet breakfast/ Lunch on cruise)

Day 5 Sydney at leisure
A full day at leisure in this exciting city. Why not take an excursion to the famous Blue Mountains and see some of Australia's native wildlife at Featherdale Wildlife Park? Or you may wish to take an interesting trip to Canberra, Australia's Capital. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 6 Sydney - Alice Springs
Today we board our flight to visit 'A Town Like Alice'. On our arrival we enjoy a guided sightseeing tour including the historic Telegraph Station, which played a key role in Australia's development. At the Royal Flying Doctor Service learn how this facility serves the people of the outback. Stop at School of the Air and take in the panoramic views from the Anzac Hill Lookout. Your evening is at leisure, perhaps dine at a local restaurant and sample emu or kangaroo. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 7 Alice Springs - Ayers Rock
Depart Alice Springs early this morning and visit a camel farm before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. This afternoon visit Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) to view the rock domes and explore these unique formations. Enjoy sparkling wine as we watch sunset, followed by a barbecue dinner under the stars. (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner)

Day 8 Ayers Rock - Cairns (3nights)
Our morning begins by watching sunrise over Uluru (Ayers Rock). Don't forget your camera! There's time to climb to the top before we tour the base of ' the Rock'. See caves, Aboriginal rock art and hear stories of the Dreamtime. Then we board our midday flight to Queensland arriving in Cairns, where we spend the next three relaxing nights. On arrival we transfer to our hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure to explore this tropical city. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 9 Great Barrier Reef
Mid-morning we join the Great Adventures catamaran and cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy an informative reef education presentation. See a myraid of corals and tropical fish seen from the underwater observatory and the semi-submersible craft. There is the opportunity to go snorkeling and view this natural living wonder up close (equipment provided). We also enjoy an included buffet lunch, before we return to Cairns. Your evening is at leisure to do as you please, your Tour Director will be happy to advise you on how best to use your free time. (Buffet breakfast/ Lunch on the Great Barrier Reef)

Day 10 Cairns at leisure
After breakfast this morning, enjoy a full day at leisure. You may wish to join the Kuranda train for a scenic rail journey to the picturesque village of Kuranda, returning to Cairns above the rainforest on the Skyrail Cableway. Or why not take a trip to the Atherton Tablelands or Cape Tribulation and stroll along the beach, before joining a cruise on the Daintree River to spot crocodiles. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 11 Cairns - USA
This morning after breakfast there is time to bid a fond farewell to new-found friends and this beautiful country as we transfer you to the airport for your return flight home. (Buffet breakfast)
